I recently had the opportunity to explore the stunning Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens, a serene escape that I had long wanted to visit due to my love for nature and botany. I chose to stay at Melville House primarily for its proximity to the gardens, and was pleasantly surprised by the warmth and helpfulness of the staff, particularly Mike. The kitchen facilities were fantastic, allowing me to prepare nutritious meals and enjoy takeaway from nearby eateries.

My stay at Melville House was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff member who made me feel welcome. The atmosphere of the beautiful older style house added a touch of charm to my stay. The suite I stayed in was incredibly spacious and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The breakfast provided by Helen, the host, was excellent and the grounds with the large pool were simply stunning. I also appreciated the convenient location, with shops and supermarkets nearby. I had a wonderful and enjoyable stay at Melville House.
